SECONDIGNE IN LYON, FRANCE

See SLIDESHOW OF WORK or visit artist's site at: secondigne.com.ar

Talented franco-argentinian painter Marcela Baubeau de Secondigne just came back from solo show in Lyon's Galerie Pons. She also showed her creations in Aix-en-Provence following the tradition of french painters' fascinating search of the extraordinary light and colors of the 'midi', as the region is referred to in France.

So many influences flourish in her paintings, to mention some: Cezanne's traits, Picasso's geometry, the colors of Gaugin, and why not, the happy curves of Matisses' lines...

You may click on the images for enlargement and read about the artist who resides permanently in Buenos Aires, Argentina where she teaches a selected group of enthousiastic followers at her atelier located in the heart of Buenos Aires, a block away from the famous '9 de Julio Avenue' and the 'Obelisco', the argentine national icon.

For further information about her paintings contact Chantal and Patrick Pons at Pons Gallery in Lyon, France.
